Membership Categories

Pick the one that’s right for you!

Institutional members include public, private, or charter STEM high schools or “school within a school” academies that demonstrate a dedicated STEM focus and rigor.

Associate memberships are available to STEM-focused middle or virtual schools or to high schools that aspire to develop a comprehensive STEM program or that are currently in transition.

Affiliate members represent colleges, universities, summer programs, and foundations that share a commitment to advancing stem education.

Corporate membership includes industry representatives from companies that value the mission of NCSSS, have a keen interest in STEM workforce readiness issues and/or have resources and solutions that support STEM facility or instructional goals.

International membership is available to schools and organizations dedicated to STEM that are located outside the US.

District Office membership supports central office leaders working to implement STEM centers/initiatives across their districts or networks that have nonprofit status and whose primary objectives are congruent with the Consortium’s mission.

Individual memberships are available to educators or school leaders associated with institutions that are not illegible for one of the organizational categories or for consultants or researchers focused on STEM issues.

All membership requests are reviewed by the NCSSS board to ensure they are aligned with the organization’s mission.

Member Dues Information

All membership categories are based on an annual billing cycle of July 1 – June 30.  New members may request dues be pro-rated during their first-year depending on the timing of their acceptance.

Organizational membership benefits are available to all administrators, teachers, and staff associated with the member school. Simply provide additional names and emails to ensure the appropriate staff receive NCSSS materials. 

Fees

Institutional Member dues are $750/year.

Associate Member dues are $750/year.

*Title 1 schools with 50% or more students receiving free lunch, please contact NCSSS at ann.flynn@ncsss.org to discuss dues assistance.

Affiliate Member dues are $750/year.

Corporate Member dues are $1,000/year.

International Member dues are $1,000/year.

District Office Member dues are $750/year.

Individual Member dues are $150/year.
