Physical & Natural Science Instructor at MSSM

Instructor - Physical & Natural Sciences (FT): Ideal candidate should have teaching experience in introductory Physical Science and in algebra-based Physics classes. Instructor will teach one or two sections of a lab-based Freshman-level Physical Science, with a focus on basic skills/concepts seen in physics, chemistry, and earth science, plus an elective course. Depending upon curricular needs in a given year, other course offerings may include algebra-based Physics and/or upper level electives in the instructor’s field of specialization. Three lab-based classes, each meeting 6 hours per week, is the full time instructional load. Familiarity with science standards and experience in scientific research to support student research projects is desirable.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics or closely related discipline is required.
